Sovereignty

This is really a hot topic in Canada. It always has been. When Europeans came to Canada, they fought for power with the Native peoples. And then the Europeans - French and English - fought for sovereignty among themselves.

The fights still go on - mostly in the press, in political rallies, and in voting booths, but sometimes on the streets and behind barricades.
